Kalpataru Projects International Files FY26 Sustainability Report; TLI Division Achieves Carbon Neutrality

Kalpataru Projects International Limited has filed its Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report (BRSR) for the financial year 2025-26, submitted to stock exchanges on June 22, 2026. The report details the company's progress toward long-term sustainability goals, including carbon neutrality by 2040, water neutrality by 2032, and a circular economy for construction and demolition waste by 2035.

TLI Division Reaches Carbon Neutrality Milestone

The Transmission Line International (TLI) division achieved carbon neutrality for the third consecutive year, offsetting 10,971.09 tCO2e through the retirement of 11,600 tCO2e carbon credits. This sustained achievement reflects the company's strategic focus on emissions reduction and carbon credit mechanisms across its international operations.

Renewable Energy Expansion and Supplier Framework

Beyond the TLI division's results, the company reported that renewable energy accounts for 26% of total electricity consumption, underscoring efforts to scale clean power adoption across all business units. The company launched the KalpaSetu ESG supplier assessment framework, transitioning to a fully digital platform-based model, and identified 111+ significant suppliers with 28 assessed during the year. Kalpataru also deployed 10 structured e-learning modules on sustainability for 50 MSME suppliers.

Third-Party Assurance

TÜV SÜD South Asia Pvt. Ltd. provided reasonable assurance for the 9 Core Attributes of the BRSR, confirming that the sustainability indicators were prepared in all material respects in accordance with reporting requirements.
