KPIL Announces ₹2,471 Crore in Fresh Infrastructure Orders

Kalpataru Projects International Limited (KPIL) announced on March 17, 2026, that it has secured new orders worth approximately ₹2,471 crore, spanning three core business segments: urban rail, power transmission and distribution, and industrial and commercial construction.

Metro Rail Project Marks Urban Mobility Win

The latest orders include an underground metro rail project in India, secured through a joint venture or consortium. The company did not disclose the specific metro system, location, or consortium partner composition, reflecting standard practice for newly awarded projects under technical evaluation.

As a leading EPC contractor in the railways infrastructure space, KPIL caters to turnkey solutions for conventional rail lines and metro rail. The company has delivered multiple metro contracts, including a ₹762.50 crore underground contract for Kanpur Metro and a ₹1,415 crore elevated viaduct contract for the Thane Integral Ring Metro, demonstrating execution depth in India's expanding metro systems.

Transmission & Distribution Momentum Across Markets

KPIL has been awarded projects in the power transmission & distribution sector in domestic and overseas markets. In the power transmission and distribution segment, the orders came from across domestic and international markets. This diversification aligns with KPIL's established footprint: the company has completed more than 30,000 km length of transmission line contracts, including the toughest terrains like mountains, deserts, and river crossings.

Buildings and Factories Expansion in India

The orders also include work in the Buildings and Factories business in India. KPIL provides world-class infrastructure support to India's growing Healthcare, Institutional, Residential, Townships, Commercial, Industrial, Hospitality, IT office spaces, Data centers, Manufacturing Plants, and Services sectors.

Order Book Growth and FY26 Trajectory

KPIL has secured orders of approximately ₹22,000 crore till date in the current financial year, complemented by a healthy pipeline and L1 positions. According to Manish Mohnot, MD & CEO, KPIL, "These orders have further strengthened our order book, clearly indicating the buoyancy in the T&D, urban infra and B&F business."
