Kalpataru Projects International Secures ₹2,957 Crore in New Orders, Makes Strategic Entry into West Asia Water Market via JV
KPIL Expands Order Book with ₹2,957 Crore in New Contracts
Mumbai-based engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company Kalpataru Projects International Limited (KPIL) announced on Tuesday that it has secured new orders worth ₹2,957 crore, including those from its international subsidiaries.
Multi-Segment Win Across Power, Buildings, and Water
The orders comprise contracts in the Power Transmission and Distribution (T&D) business in both India and international markets, projects in the Buildings and Factories (B&F) business within India, and a water sector project in the Middle East, which has been secured through a joint venture/consortium arrangement.
As of Q4 FY26, KPIL's order book stood at ₹65,457 crore, with 61 percent from domestic markets and 39 percent from international markets. These new wins further strengthen the company's diversified portfolio across infrastructure sectors.
Strategic Entry into West Asia Water Infrastructure
The water business order represents a significant milestone for the company, marking its strategic entry into the Middle East market, a region offering substantial growth opportunities. KPIL secured its first water project in the region through a joint venture/consortium.
The Middle East water sector has been a focus area for major infrastructure investors globally, with significant demand for water treatment, supply, and irrigation systems. This move signals KPIL's intent to expand its water business beyond its established domestic footprint.
Market Leadership Reinforced
KPIL's MD and CEO, Manish Mohnot, said the new orders secured in the T&D business reinforce market leadership in India and select global markets, while successive wins in the B&F business from marquee clients underscore the company's commitment to best-in-class capabilities and timely execution.
