Kalpataru Limited Board Approves ₹350 Crore NCD Issuance Alongside Q3 FY26 Results
Board Approves ₹350 Crore Debt Issuance
Kalpataru Limited's board approved a ₹350 crore Non-Convertible Debenture (NCD) issuance on February 6, 2026, announced alongside Q3 FY26 results. The debenture issuance supports the company's capital requirements as it manages an active portfolio of residential and commercial projects across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region and other cities.
Q3 Performance and Capital Deployment
Pre-sales in Q3 FY26 stood at ₹870 crore, while collections reached ₹1,101 crore, reflecting steady customer demand and effective collection efficiency. The quarter saw the launch of two towers at Eternia, Kalpataru Parkcity in Thane, adding approximately 0.48 million square feet of saleable area to the portfolio. During 9M FY26, the company received Occupancy Certificates for 3.52 million square feet across six projects.
The NCD issuance provides a mechanism for the company to mobilise capital at competitive rates for project advancement and working capital needs. NCDs are listed debt instruments rated by credit agencies and traded on wholesale debt market segments, offering investors a fixed-income security while providing the issuer access to capital markets.

Capital Structure Context

For the full year FY26, the company achieved pre-sales of ₹5,280 crore (17 percent growth) and collections of ₹4,960 crore (34 percent growth). The company completed its listing in July 2025, which provided a substantial capital injection for debt reduction and project advancement.
The ₹350 crore NCD issuance forms part of the company's broader capital management strategy, which includes both debt reduction and selective deployment for high-potential projects. Debenture issuances allow listed real estate developers to tap institutional investors—including mutual funds, insurance companies, and pension funds—offering these investors rated debt securities with periodic coupon payments.
